As we continue to move to a more “paperless” society, the file cabinet is quickly becoming a thing of the past.  Every day, more and more data is being stored electronically.  The Document Destruction Division of Randy’s Environmental Services offers secure destruction service for Electronic Media to ensure this confidential information does not fall into the wrong hands.

Items such as Cassette Tapes, VHS Tapes, CDs, DVDs, Floppy Disks, Microfiche, and Hard-drives are typically destroyed Off-Site.  Due to the plastics and metals found in Electronic Media, Off Site shredding ensures that all shredded paper remains recyclable.  Note: On-Site service is available for most Electronic Media when the volumes are considerably large.

It’s the Law………Consumer information stored on computers is also covered by the FACTA Disposal Rule.  Just one hard-drive, CD, or other electronic media device can contain thousands of data files.  Simply pressing the Delete key does NOT destroy the information.
